You and I Were Made for More.

At 71, I’ve been thinking a lot about life – about what I’ve done for Jesus, my Master and Saviour, and how little it seems in the grand scheme of things. But this isn’t a pity party or a “woe is me” moment. It’s about looking honestly at myself in the light of God’s Word and asking: “Am I bearing the kind of fruit He’s called me to bear?”

Not just any fruit – the fruit of salvation. Seeing people transformed by God’s grace. Witnessing lives changed by the power of the gospel. And while the Cross is central and beyond words incredible, it’s not just a destination; it’s the conduit. It’s the doorway through which God is working out His massive plan. Not just for this tiny planet but for the whole universe – everything He created before time began.

I’m His servant, yes, out of duty because He’s my Master, and I’m His slave. But even more than that, I serve Him because I love Him. His grace compels me. The cry of my heart is, “From Your mouth to my hands, Lord.”

We Were Made for More.

The Bible says God chose us “before the foundation of the world” Ephesians 1:4. Think about that for a second. Before there was even a single star in the sky or a grain of sand on the earth, He had you and me in mind and decided to save us. He saved us not to settle into a routine but to live a life of purpose and power.

So why would we settle for anything less? Why let shame, regret, or feelings of inadequacy hold us back when His grace is a never-ending fountain flowing toward…
